It’s amazing how various things look enticing when you don’t have time to do them, and lose their shimmer when you do.
I’ve had some time over the last few days when I could have gone mad playing demos and reviewing them, and I’ve done none.
To be fair, I have played NBA Live 2003 (not a new demo I realise), Space Rangers II and Fifa 2006. However, reviews haven’t been written yet, so I can’t cross any of those off.
I have another observation about gaming since I bought my Xbox 360 Controller. I knew I would enjoy car racing games more, what I didn’t realise I would enjoy, is sports games. I’ve never been a big fan of sports games, but playing NBA Live 2003 was extremely enjoyable, and I craved for Fifa 2006 to work with my Xbox 360 Controller, it’s not. Yet.
So anyway, today I was in town and I went on a hunt to see what I could find. Geez, it’s a 2003 game, surely I can find it somewhere for very little.

Yes, I picked up NBA Live 2003 for NZ$9.95. That’s US$6.20. On a whim, I also picked up Madden 2003 for $9.80. Sweeeeet.
So although I have a pile of demos to review, I’ll probably be playing these this weekend. Have a good one.
